BORY Sense is an AI accessibility platform that combines speech recognition (STT) with camera-based lip-reading/AVSR technology to provide real-time captions for face-to-face communication. It is designed to support deaf and hard-of-hearing users, older adults, and people who need better access to spoken information in noisy or public environments. The solution can be used through a web browser and can be connected to AR glasses for hands-free caption display. It is suitable for public service counters, hospitals, welfare facilities, education, meetings, customer service, and daily communication support. The product is currently being developed and commercialized through a national assistive technology R&D project, with KC, radio/EMC, assistive device classification, and related certification/approval review in progress.

This app is designed for people with aphasia and older adults who experience difficulty communicating due to word-retrieval impairments. It presents pictorial symbols for individual words, allowing users to select multiple words and express their thoughts as accurate, natural sentences and synthesized speech.
An AI language model recommends appropriate words based on each user’s preferences and context, significantly reducing the number of clicks required for word selection. This enables users to generate spoken sentences of approximately eight words within 20 seconds.
The Assistive Switch is an adaptive input device designed for individuals with limited hand function or difficulty accurately targeting conventional buttons or switches. It enables users to activate connected devices with minimal and imprecise movements, thereby improving accessibility and ease of use.
The activation surface is designed to provide consistent responsiveness across the switch. Users do not need to press the exact center; activation can also be achieved by pressing the edge or other off-center areas. This feature is particularly beneficial for users with a limited range of motion, reduced motor control, or difficulty performing precise hand movements.
The device is available in two sizes, with diameters of 12.7 cm and 6.5 cm, allowing users to select an appropriate size according to their physical abilities, range of motion, and intended application. It is also compatible with standard smartphone and tablet mounting systems users may already own, enabling flexible positioning and adjustment without requiring a dedicated mounting system.
Through an AUX cable connection, the switch can be connected to a variety of compatible devices, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, switch-adapted or modified toys, and scanning systems. This allows the device to support a broad range of activities, such as communication, play, learning, and interaction with digital or assistive devices. Its adaptable design and compatibility with existing equipment enable users to configure the switch according to their individual needs and everyday environments.
