Francisco Walking Stick F1

Francisco Walking Stick F1 is a walking stick for older adults, held one in each hand and sold as a set of two.

A conventional cane supports only one side of the body with one hand. Francisco is used with both hands, so two feet and two sticks meet the ground at four points. This widens the base of support and improves walking stability. Randomized controlled trials published in international journals report that walking with poles improves balance and functional mobility in older adults, and such gains in stability are discussed as contributing to reduced fall risk.

The lower pipe is made of 7001 duralumin, a high-strength alloy used in aircraft, with an anodized finish for durability. Each stick weighs approximately 200g, light enough to lift with a single finger, which matters for users who decide each morning whether a walk feels manageable. Twist-lock height adjustment from 62 to 95cm requires no tools and fits users of any height, including those with a smaller build or a stooped posture. The stick also features anti-shock absorption, a textured non-slip rubber tip, and a wrist strap.

Inside the rubber tip is a stopper, a component invisible from the outside. Without it, the lower pipe presses directly against the tip, wearing a hole through it and exposing bare metal that transmits noise and impact to the hand and arm. The stopper prevents this contact, so the tip wears evenly like the sole of a shoe. Replacement tips are supplied free of charge for ten years, once per year, with shipping charged separately in Korea.

The product holds a certificate of conformity to Korean safety standards for canes for older adults, issued by the Korea Conformity Laboratories (KCL). It is manufactured by a Korean specialist producer that supplies trekking poles to global outdoor brands including K2 and The North Face.

The line is expanding to four models combining two grip types with duralumin and carbon shafts.
