Ninebell Healthcare Inc. was founded in 2020 to solve two problems that are intensifying as Korea enters a super-aged society: pressure ulcers among bedridden patients and a chronic shortage of care workers. By combining big data, IoT, AI, and robotic control technology in bio-health medical devices, we develop smart care solutions that reduce the risk of pressure ulcers while easing the repositioning burden on caregivers. Our flagship product, NINEBED, is a pressure ulcer prevention solution built on AI-based pressure redistribution technology.

Its core technology is protected by eight registered Korean patents, with further applications underway both in Korea and overseas. The technology has also proven itself in the field: in clinical trials conducted at three nursing homes in Gyeonggi Province, NINEBED met the required evaluation criteria for pressure redistribution effectiveness, safety, and usability, demonstrating its practical value in real-world care environments. With GMP and ISO 13485 certification and medical device manufacturing registration all in place, we have established a full quality management and mass production system, ready for stable, large-scale supply.

Recognizing that effective pressure management influences not only ulcer prevention but also sleep quality, we are extending our technology into AI-based smart sleep management (Sleep Tech), broadening our platform beyond a single-purpose device.
