Lactobacillus sakei Probio65 is a patented probiotic strain isolated from Korean traditional Kimchi. While the live cells has been proven to have beneficial effects to reduce the symptoms of atopic dermatitis, the dead cells of this strain has also been proven in in-vivo as well as in human clinical study to improved atopic dermatitis symptoms in children and adolescents. It is currently certified as a health functional food in Korea and Canada, and in Korea, live bacteria were registered as individually approved raw materials in 2013.
