HME-DDS™ is an advanced formulation platform based on Hot-Melt Extrusion technology that continuously processes functional ingredients using controlled heat, pressure, and shear force. The platform is designed to improve the water solubility, dispersibility, stability, and bioavailability of poorly soluble natural compounds while minimizing or eliminating the use of organic solvents. This enables a more efficient and scalable manufacturing process for the development of high-value functional ingredients.
BeNatureBioLab operates HME systems ranging from laboratory and pilot scale to production scale, enabling an integrated development process from ingredient screening and formulation optimization to scale-up, manufacturing, and finished-product development.
Based on the HME-DDS™ platform, the company is expanding its business across functional foods, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals, providing B2B functional ingredients as well as CDMO/ODM, joint development, and technology commercialization services. BeNatureBioLab has also established a local subsidiary in Nanjing, China, and is strengthening its global business network through international PoC projects and collaborative development with overseas partners, with the goal of expanding into major markets across Asia, the United States, and beyond.
