SARTEXO is a wearable robotics company developing lightweight and comfortable assistive suits powered by its proprietary Fabric Muscle technology. Founded as a technology spin-off based on research achievements and core technologies developed at the Korea Institute of Machinery & Materials (KIMM), SARTEXO is transforming laboratory research into practical wearable robotic solutions.
At the core of SARTEXO’s technology is Fabric Muscle, created by weaving ultra-fine shape memory alloy (SMA) coils into textile structures so that the fabric itself functions as an artificial muscle actuator. Based on this technology, SARTEXO is developing its Bionic Suit platform to assist movement and physical strength across multiple body regions and joints, including the waist, shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees.
SARTEXO is expanding its technology into industrial workplaces, caregiving, defense, and rehabilitation, creating a future where anyone can naturally and comfortably “wear strength.”
