It enables users to activate connected devices with minimal and imprecise movements, thereby improving accessibility and ease of use.

The activation surface is designed to provide consistent responsiveness across the switch. Users do not need to press the exact center; activation can also be achieved by pressing the edge or other off-center areas. This feature is particularly beneficial for users with a limited range of motion, reduced motor control, or difficulty performing precise hand movements.

The device is available in two sizes, with diameters of 12.7 cm and 6.5 cm, allowing users to select an appropriate size according to their physical abilities, range of motion, and intended application. It is also compatible with standard smartphone and tablet mounting systems users may already own, enabling flexible positioning and adjustment without requiring a dedicated mounting system.

Through an AUX cable connection, the switch can be connected to a variety of compatible devices, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, switch-adapted or modified toys, and scanning systems. A variety of handles corresponding to natural hand shapes (spherical, disc, and hook) and practical adapters (can openers, powered wheelchair joysticks, and more) are freely accessible via the "Open Platform." Users can also propose custom handle or adapter concepts through the Open platform, fostering a sustainable, continuously expanding assistive technology ecosystem driven by user demand.

Mobility Safety and SOS Assistive Device for the Visually Impaired is an open-source smart personal safety alarm designed to ensure the safe mobility of individuals who experience walking difficulties, such as the visually impaired, the elderly, and other physical minorities. It was developed to improve upon the passive response and poor usability for people with disabilities found in conventional safety alarms, allowing users to request help easily and quickly.

The assistive device consists of hardware (the alarm unit) and software (the mobile application). Designed to resemble a keycap accessory on the outside, the device can be discreetly carried as an everyday personal safety item without looking like a traditional self-defense tool. Users can press the keycap switch to respond flexibly to different situations: pressing it briefly triggers a "general assistance request" to notify those nearby when help is needed without urgency, while pressing and holding the switch for 2 seconds or longer during an emergency activates a continuous alarm for 3 minutes and sends the user's current GPS location along with an emergency rescue message to a pre-configured number via the application. Additionally, false alarms can be easily managed by pressing and holding the switch for 5 seconds or more to cancel the alert.

The Assistive Dishwashing Kit is designed to support individuals with hemiplegia or other limitations in bilateral hand use, enabling them to wash dishes more easily using 1 hand. By securely holding tableware in place, the device reduces the need to continuously stabilize the item, allowing the available hand to be used for scrubbing and cleaning.

The kit consists of 2 components designed for different types of tableware: a bowl-holding device and a plate-holding device. The bowl-holding device automatically adjusts to the size of the bowl when placed on it, ensuring commonly used items, such as rice and soup bowls, remain securely positioned during washing. Once the bowl is lifted, the holding mechanism automatically releases and returns to its initial position.

The plate-holding device features adjustable spacing between its 2 supports, enabling plates of various sizes to be held upright and securely. Furthermore, the locking mechanism can be positioned on either the left or right side, allowing users to secure and release the plate with 1 hand, depending on their available hand.

Both devices operate without electricity or batteries. By reducing unwanted movement and slipping of tableware, the kit effectively supports the process of stabilizing and washing dishes with 1 hand.
